Some pieces offered by Grimm's Obscura may feature materials, symbolism, or themes rooted in gothic, occult, or curiosity-inspired traditions. These items may not be suitable for all audiences. Please review product descriptions carefully before purchasing. 

Products & Natural Variations

At Grimm's Obscura, we believe beauty and ethics are not mutually exclusive. Every piece we create is crafted with intention, respect, and care - for our art, our customers, and the natural world. All items are handmade and/or assembled from purchased parts, with some products containing ethically sourced organic material such as animal bones, and may contain natural variations in color, texture, and appearance. These natural differences ensure that each piece is entirely unique - no two items will ever be exactly alike. These variations are not considered defects but part of the uniqueness of each piece. 

Use of Animal Bone

Some items offered by Grimm's Obscura incorporate real animal bone. All animal materials are legally and ethically sourced. No animals are harmed or killed for the purpose of creating jewelry or other goods. Animal bones used in our work are obtained through one or more of the following means:

• Byproducts of the food industry
• Naturally deceased animals
• Antique, vintage, or estate specimens
• Licensed and reputable suppliers

We do not support or participate in unethical harvesting practices.

Wildlife & Legal Compliance

Grimm's Obscura does not use or sell materials derived from endangered or protected species. We comply with all applicable local, state and federal laws, including the Endangered Species Act and CITES regulations where applicable. 

Care & Handling

Bone jewelry and accessories should be handled with care. Avoid prolonged exposure to water, chemicals, perfumes, or extreme temperatures. Grimm's Obscura is not responsible for damage caused by improper care, wear, or storage. 

Candle Safety Disclaimer

Candles should always be burned responsibly. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Always place candles on a heat-safe surface, keep away from flammable materials, and follow all provided care instructions. Grimm's Obscura is not responsible for damage or injury caused by improper candle use. 

Orders & Payment

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated. Payment is due at the time of purchase. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including suspected fraud or inventory errors. 

Shipping

Please allow up to 3 business days for your order to be processed and shipped. For custom orders and/or backstock items, processing and shipping times may vary. Grimm's Obscura is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, or customs.

Once an order has been shipped, we are not responsible for lost or stolen packages. Please ensure your shipping address is correct at checkout. 

Returns & Exchanges

Due to the handmade nature of our products, all sales are final unless otherwise stated. If an item arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos so we can make it right. 

Allergies & Materials

Our products may contain metals, fragrance oils, essential oils, waxes, or other materials that could cause sensitivities. It is the buyer's responsibility to review product descriptions and discontinue use if irritation occurs.

Intellectual Property

All content on this site - including images, product names, descriptions, logos, and designs - is the property of Grimm's Obscura LLC and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without permission. 

Limitation of Liability

Grimm's Obscura shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use or misuse of our products. By purchasing from us, you agree to use items responsibly and at your own risk.

We value honesty and transparency. If you have questions about the materials used in any piece, we encourage you to reach out before purchasing. We are always happy to provide any additional information. By purchasing from Grimm's Obscura, you acknowledge and accept the nature of the materials used and the inherent variations that come with handcrafted, ethically sourced goods.
